Concious breathing   Baby whales can only stay for short periods underwater so they spend most of their time close to the surface while the mother watches closely just a few metres below. This is a digital wetplate produced with some of the images I took in July 2014 while snorkeling in the South Pacific Archipelago of Vava'u in the Polynesian Kingdom of Tonga.
